Glory - He Holds My Hand
Glory The deepest longing of the human heart is to know and enjoy the glory of God. We were made for this. John Piper My glory is displayed through My character and divine nature. It is the manifestation of all that I am—it’s My splendor, brightness, excellence, grace, and majesty. My Son radiates My glory and expresses My character (Hebrews 1:3), and I want you to do the same. When you have confessed your sin and bear the fruit of a Spirit-filled life, you make Me visible to the world. You bring Me glory when you enjoy My presence—spending time walking and talking with Me, asking for My wisdom, seeking biblical resolutions to your problems, and being My hands and feet to people in need. Others see My glory through you because your life reflects My character. Actively proclaim My truth and lead people to faith in Christ. “And as God’s grace reaches more and more people, there will be great thanksgiving, and God will receive more and more glory” (2 Corinthians 4:15). When you glorify My name, your momentary worry and discouragement will be replaced with supernatural joy. Who will not fear you, Lord, and glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous deeds have been revealed. Revelation 15:4
