Invest Your Life Blessed is the man who gets the opportunity to devote his life to something bigger than himself and who finds himself surrounded by friends who share his passion. You have endured hardships, but you’re developing the habit of bringing your needs to Me and then looking for someone else you can help. Be generous with your time. Look into the eyes of people who cross your path and see the hurt and the questions. Take them to My Word, and model a life focused on eternity instead of earthbound thinking. Display the radiance of My presence by shining love on people who need encouragement. Find people you can invest your life in on a regular basis. Be available to share what you’ve learned about My truth. Listen more than you talk. Let them walk with you on a day when you’re ministering to others, and they’ll learn how to follow Me by seeing Christ’s life in action through you. Don’t mask your sorrows. When they see you struggling with pain or hard issues, they’ll learn how to stay on track without wavering in their faith when life is difficult. Let them hear and see your affection for them. When people know they’re genuinely loved, they open up and honestly connect at a heart level. The joy will be mutual.
