Live every day dependent upon Me. Since you’ve been hurt and rejected by people you trusted to show you kindness, you’ve allowed an invisible wall to come between you and others. Getting close to people feels risky, and you don’t want to look vulnerable and unprotected. Your personal pain hurts enough—and you don’t know whom to confide in. Sometimes you put distance between you and Me because of this habit. You automatically shy away from Me, afraid of being dismissed.

Beloved, learn a new way to respond. I have tender affection for you. In My presence, you’ll find warmth, mercy, love, and protection. I’m not here to criticize you. I’m here to comfort you and to gently reveal a better way to live. Dare to experience My tender mercies, compassion, and love. Allow Me to take you by the hand and lead you to a safe place. I am always aware of your hurts, your suffering, and your fears. Your endurance in this fallen world has gotten My attention, and as I did for My servant Job, I will bring you to a place of peace and blessing—beyond anything you could ever imagine. Keep your hand in Mine, and we’ll walk this road together.

We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.
