Read the Bible Together: Jonah and the Whale - Bible Reading Plan

Jonah can be a confusing book—even for adults. But it teaches two theological truths that are simple enough for a child to understand: 1) This story displays God's radical grace—his goodness to those who may not deserve it—and 2) this story reminds us that God sometimes interrupts our lives by asking us to do something big. Talk to your children about how they might respond when God asks something big of them. Our prayer is that over the next four days, many beautiful conversations will result as you read through the book of Jonah with your children.
