Do you speak God?

If you want to become more fluent in making what’s wrong right again, you need to learn how to speak His language.

Start with some vocabulary. Love, for instance. Is it possible that God’s definition is different than yours? How about words like peace, joy, sin, or hatred? To learn God’s language, you shouldn’t take for granted that your vocabulary is God’s vocabulary.

Learn His rules of grammar, the appropriate use and structure of God’s words. Perhaps you’ve defined God’s love, but can you communicate it properly in a relationship? Or the rules of syntax, how God’s words relate to each other. Can you translate how God’s peace relates to your daily life? Learn how to put that relationship into words.

To communicate what matters, you need to make the assumption that you’ve never really spoken before. Walk in the humility of a child, learning for the first time the ABCs of God’s communication.
