Nothing Is Beneath You

What kind of good deeds should you do? While it is important to have a spirit of service for whatever needs to be done, also seek out deeds that are beneath your status. Only you can decide what those would be.

A great way to learn humility is to make it your goal to serve others in ways you’d never choose, especially when you have “better” things to do, expecting nothing in return.

Too often, when we raise ourselves up through word or deed, we put others down. Acts of humble service bring your pride down to the depths for the purpose of raising others up.

It doesn’t mean that you are low and without worth. It means that your purpose is found in elevating what matters. In this way, you will find your sense of self elevated as well.
