The Beginning of Love

Learning how to love usually begins with being loved by others.

Hopefully you were raised by loving parents and had family and friends who showed you love. If you weren’t so lucky, consider that God has always loved you. Learn His story of love, and place yourself around people who know His love and want to pass it on.

God also wants you to love Him with everything you are. He understands that this will be a journey.

And God wants you to love others. But He’s also patient. He understands the beginning of your love may be selfish. You know what you want and need. So just start by loving others the way you’d like to be loved.

Love had no beginning with God, but it can begin with you. It’s never too late to start learning how to love.
