Trial and Error

The phrase trial and error can indicate possible failure, but may also signal a path to success.

We all love the comfort of the familiar, and stepping out to live your life’s purpose is full of unknowns. It places you in the uncomfortable realm of trial and error.

But it’s only in trying different ideas or pursuits—and risking that those ideas or pursuits could be mistakes—that you’ll ever be able to flesh out and refine your purpose and discover where and how it should be applied.

You need to remain decisive and fully committed to this testing ground, no matter your fears. An untested purpose has no fortitude or integrity. Without trial and error, it will remain a straw man of good intentions.

We all make mistakes—try erring on the side of purpose.
