Did you know that simply reading and meditating on the Bible revives your soul? God’s words are living, and therefore they are relevant to your current situation, no matter what it is. The almighty God speaks to you through the Bible, and his words bring peace, strength, comfort, wisdom, and hope—the very nourishment you need for revival. Sin starves your soul, but God’s Word rejuvenates it.
Bathe Yourself in Love
Slowly read through a psalm today. Read it as if God were speaking its words directly to you. Afterward, take time to pause and listen. Pray, “God, what might you want to say to me through this passage?”
