When you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father in private. Then your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Sometimes you must be still and alone to hear God speak. Just find a quiet place and tell God you are listening and ready to hear him speak to your heart and mind. Soak in this peaceful time of solitude and fellowship with God. He promises to see you and reward you.
Bathe Yourself in Love
Drive without music or the radio today to practice being with God in silence. As you drive, simply focus on resetting your heart to be in tune with his, listening for what he wants to say to you. Learn to grow more comfortable with silent spaces during your normal routine.
