Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people.

Revelation 14:6

Eventually, at the end of time, every knee on earth will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. People from every tribe, language, and nation will worship in joyful unity before the throne of God. Personal differences and reasons for international strife will no long matter, eclipsed by the glorious Lord we can’t help but worship.

And this is possible because Jesus died on the cross for every single human being, no matter how rich or poor, no matter what color their skin is or what language they speak. Jesus welcomes everyone into his kingdom. Imagine what it will be like to hear the praises of God proclaimed in thousands of different tongues!

And someday you will be part of this heavenly choir, praising Jesus wholeheartedly and with a joy far greater than you could ever have imagined.

Lord, I love this picture of heaven, of all your people throughout time and around the globe praising you with joyful abandon! Come quickly, I pray, amen.
