Beautiful Word Devotional #298

Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy.

Revelation 15:4

At the end of the age—when King Jesus returns—every knee will bow before him, and everyone will recognize him as Lord. His glory will fill the new heavens and the new earth. There, freed from sin, clothed in the righteousness of Christ, having new resurrection bodies, and filled with awe and gratitude, we will perfectly glorify God. We will undoubtedly find ourselves worshipping him as naturally as we breathe.

And of course we aren’t waiting until then to worship God. What can you do to get a glimpse of God’s beauty and glory today? When will you take time today to think about all that he has done for you and thank him? What can help you be more concerned about his opinion of you than you are about other people’s?

Take some time right now to worship God and praise him for who he is. Oh, how good he is to you! Oh, how much he loves you!

Lord, may I live a life of worship here on earth as I will one day in heaven, amen.
