Beautiful Word Devotional #326

The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.

Isaiah 40:28

In this busy world, we see many exhausted and work-weary people. We get tired out by life’s seemingly impossible demands and the pressure to meet them. After all, we are human beings with a finite amount of energy and limited abilities. Every night we must sleep to renew our energy level. We need to eat to regain our strength. We must exercise to stay strong.

But God does not have such limitations. He doesn’t need food or sleep to keep going. His strength will never fade, and his understanding is all-encompassing and thorough. Simply put, he knows everything about everything.

And this God is with you every day of your life, 24/7. He is there when you grow weary, hungry, weak, or overwhelmed, offering you his unlimited strength. And he calls you to a relationship with him, a relationship that will give you perspective, wisdom, soul rest, grace, hope, and joy in your busy life.

Lord, I need your power today to power through my day, amen.
