“So do not fear, for I am with you.”

Isaiah 41:10

When life careens out of control, and you feel the weight of the chaos and fear, remember this powerful truth: God is with you.

When a friendship shifts and changes, and bitterness lurks in your heart, remember this: God is with you.

When you can’t pay that bill, the creditors keep calling, and you are panicking after checking your bank balance, remember this: God is with you.

When someone slanders you regularly and no one rises to defend you, remember this: God is with you.

When old age has slowed you down and you can no longer do what you used to be able to do, remember this: God is with you.

When your dream has died, and you’re struggling to feel that you have any worth at all, remember this: God is with you.

When your loved one dies, and your grief stretches beyond the starry sky, remember this: God is with you.

Do not fear, dearly loved one, for God is with you.

Lord, thank you that no matter what I am facing today, I don’t need to fear because you are with me, amen.
