Trade Your Worry For Peace

Trade Your Worry For Peace

Breathe Deep and Know: When you go to God with your burdens, He can exchange your weariness for rest and your worry for peace.

How are you resting these days? Is anxiety robbing you of true rest and refreshment?

We can’t always control what kind of difficulty enters our lives, how long it will last, or how hard it will get. And that—the not knowing—can cause so much anxiety. It can be nearly impossible to truly rest when your mind is full of worries and fears.

But God does have control. He knows your suffering and every detail of how long it will last and how hard it will get. And He says, “Come to Me.” He says to give Him your burdens and He will give you rest, even in the midst of the unknown. Because even though the unknown can cause anxiety and restlessness, it’s in being okay with the unknown and trusting God—the One for whom nothing is unknown—that you can actually find the peace and rest your soul so desperately needs.

Inhale His rest and exhale your burdens today. You don’t have to bear the weight of trying to control it all or know it all, because you are safe with the One who already does.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

Matthew 11:28

inhale:

I GIVE YOU ALL MY BURDENS,
