For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?

WHEN I TELL YOU THAT the best is yet to be, I mean this in its profoundest sense, not in its obvious sense. God is not outdone, defeated, and beaten within the confines of human history. Only because I am confident that He is bringing His own purposes to pass, in His own way, can I say that every age of time is better than the last. But this reality is discernible only to the Spirit of God within me, not to the spirit of man within me.

The Bible stirs up an intense and unquenchable hope that an age of time is coming on this earth, inconceivably wonderful, when all that we have ever dreamed will fade into silly fancies beside the reality.

This will be when Christ reigns among us. Satan, the antagonist of God and the accuser of the saints, will be imprisoned by God and will be unable to harm or disturb the saints of God. The colossal pretensions of the Antichrist will be a thing of the past as the resurrected saints take active share in the manifestation of the kingdom of God on earth.

Prayer Thought: Father, my hope for the future is completely in You.
