Change

MY QUESTION for GOD

When is change positive?

A MOMENT with GOD

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Romans 12:2

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

Acts 3:19

Change is one of the great constants of life. Whether because of the gradual passage of time or cataclysmic moments of trauma, change happens to everything and everyone. People change, relationships change, jobs change, technology changes—indeed, life itself can be described as a process of continual change. Some changes are positive: making a new friend, moving into a new house, receiving a financial windfall. Other changes are negative: suffering a tragic loss, getting laid off from a job, surviving the upheaval of a natural disaster. Either way, change is stressful. The Bible offers two truths about change. The first is that despite the changing world around us, God is changeless and dependable. The second is that God wants an inner change of heart, called repentance, that produces an outward change of lifestyle, called obedience. When you change your heart, you will change your life forever.

DIVINE PROMISE

I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

Philippians 1:6
