MY QUESTION for GOD

Can Jesus change even the worst people on earth?

A MOMENT with GOD

The Lord said, “Go over to Straight Street, to the house of Judas. When you get there, ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. . . . I have shown him a vision of a man named Ananias coming in and laying hands on him so he can see again.” “But Lord,” exclaimed Ananias, “I’ve heard many people talk about the terrible things this man has done to the believers in Jerusalem! And he is authorized by the leading priests to arrest everyone who calls upon your name.” But the Lord said, “Go, for Saul is my chosen instrument to take my message to the Gentiles and to kings, as well as to the people of Israel.”

Acts 9:11-15

Think of the cruelest, most evil person you know. Are you praying for that person? Is it possible for the Lord to change that terrible person into an on-fire believer in Jesus? If you doubt that he can, remember Saul. He was a mass murderer, inflicting enormous suffering on Christians and wreaking havoc in the early church. How could God save a wretch like that? But he did. Not only did Saul become the apostle Paul, but God also spoke through him to write many of the books in the New Testament. Who would have believed it? But it happened. The next time you find yourself hating that wicked person, stop and change directions. Pray for him or her instead. Then don’t be surprised if you see God begin to change that person.
