My Question for God

I feel as if I’m supposed to do more in life. How can God help me discover what I was meant to do?

Romans 12:1-2

We are busier than ever—in fact, many of us are downright frenzied. At the end of another frantic day, we slump in a chair or fall into bed and ask ourselves, “What did I do today? Did I make any difference?” Our lives often seem to lack a compelling purpose, a purpose worthy of our being created in God’s image. And this aimlessness can lead to apathy and despair. But God has both a general purpose and a specific purpose for you. God has given you spiritual gifts and wants you to use them to make a unique contribution in your sphere of influence. The more you fulfill your general purpose, the more clear your specific purpose will become. God calls you to partner with him in his great redemptive plan for the world. Using your gifts to help him fulfill that purpose will help you understand what is truly important for you to accomplish each day and to bring meaning to your work. It can fuel your energy and ignite your dreams.
