My Question for God
How powerful are the words I speak?
A Moment with God
The words of the godly are a life-giving fountain.
Proverbs 10:11
The words of the godly are like sterling silver.
Proverbs 10:20
Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
Ephesians 4:29
Your words are gifts that you give to God and to others. The things you say and the meaning behind them have enormous impact on those who hear. You wouldn’t give an obscene gift to the president—or even to a friend—and it would certainly be a bad idea to give an insulting gift to an enemy. Your words are no different. In fact, the greatest gift you will ever give others is not in a box covered with paper and bows but in the words you use to encourage, inspire, comfort, and challenge them. Don’t let your words be annoying, complaining, insulting, demeaning, or simply useless. Make your words count so that they can become divine moments in the lives of others.
Divine Promise
Wise words are more valuable than much gold and many rubies.
