A Heart In Tune With His
Lord, how can my heart be more aligned with yours?
Keep away from anything that might take my place in your heart. Don’t ask for only what will give you pleasure. Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you my enemy? If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself my enemy. Jesus prayed, “I want your will to be done, not mine.” Submit yourself to me. I will teach you my ways, that you may live according to my truth! I will grant you purity of heart, that you may honor me.

What will I experience when my heart is in tune with yours?
You can be confident that I hear you whenever you ask for anything that pleases me. I am close to all who call on me, yes, to all who call on me in truth. I grant the desires of those who fear me; I hear their cries for help and rescue them. Take delight in me, and I will give you your heart’s desires.

How can I pray in line with your desires?
Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. O LORD, do good to those whose hearts are in tune with you.
