Lord, what is your advice when I have an important decision to make?

Get wisdom; develop good judgment. Don’t forget my words or turn away from them. You know what I want; you know what is right because you have been taught my law. I direct the steps of the godly. I delight in every detail of their lives.

If you love me, obey my commandments. I have called you to live a holy life, not an impure life. Therefore, anyone who refuses to live by these rules is not disobeying human teaching but is rejecting me, who gives the Holy Spirit to you. Trust in me with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek my will in all you do, and I will show you which path to take.

Bend down, O LORD, and hear my prayer; answer me, for I need your help. You are the LORD my God, who teaches me what is good for me and leads me along the paths I should follow.
