Pray About It: Solitary prayer is important. Corporate church prayer is necessary, and having a prayer partner is desirable. However, for many Christians the most crucial time of prayer may be that of family worship. At regular times, the entire family should gather together for a brief reading of Scripture, discussion of family matters, and prayer for each other. Christianity in a family is both caught and taught. Your children must see that prayer is important to you as their parent and also the foundation for the family.

If you have no children, meet regularly for prayer with your spouse. If you’re single, you can pray for families with a prayer partner. As the family goes, so goes the church of God.
