Magnificent Prayer #366
I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.
Psalm 77:11
So much for the past. It is gone, it is done, and it will remain what we have made it. All there was of God’s Spirit in it, either in our failures or successes, will be abundantly blessed to His glory and others’ good, as well as our own.
Seeing, then, that God’s part is the good part which shall never be taken away from us, let us determine by His grace, that that part of all our work in its planning and in its execution shall have more and more prominence till God-likeness, which is our privilege, shall likewise be our exalted condition. Then, with prayer to sweeten labor, we shall rest content to leave results with our Father in Heaven.

Pray About It: The year is ending and with it all the joys and sorrows must be tucked away as part of our history with God. We can look back with thanksgiving and forward with confidence. His coming is that much closer, whether by rapture or by death.
On that day, all our questions will be answered and we shall see the end of our prayers.
Every turn in life brings me back to this: more prayer.
