1 Corinthians 12:4,7,27

1 Corinthians 12:4,7,27

There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all. . . . A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other. . . . All of you together are Christ’s body, and each of you is a part of it.

Have you ever felt like you have nothing special to offer the world? This passage reminds us of an important truth: Every believer is given at least one unique spiritual gift by the Holy Spirit to help advance God’s Kingdom. Therefore, it is important to know what yours is. If you aren’t sure, start by asking God and trustworthy friends. Then ask yourself this question: What am I good at? Spiritual-gifts assessments can help as well. The more you use your gift to help others, the greater your impact for God’s work.
