1 Peter 5:7
1 Peter 5:7
Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.
Have you ever shared with a close friend or counselor the concerns that were weighing you down? Was there something healing about verbally processing your worries with someone who cared about you? Sharing your burdens eases the feeling that you need to carry them all on your own. This is also what God wants you to do with him. He longs for you to tell him your burdens, because he cares about you more than any person ever could. Scripture promises that when you release your worries into his control and “thank him for all he has done,” he will give you a peace that exceeds your understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). What worries can you talk to God about today?
