Ephesians 1:4

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

Before God created the world, he had you in mind. He knew exactly when you would be born and for what purpose. Just as expectant parents are bursting with anticipation as they await the arrival of their child, God has greatly anticipated your existence since the beginning of time. Therefore, your life has great meaning. At the same moment you ask Jesus to forgive your sins and commit your life to him, God views you as holy, as though you had never sinned. He sees you as you’ll be when you’re reigning with him in his eternal, heavenly Kingdom: free from any fault or imperfection. Does this fill you with hope for your future?
