Isaiah 55:6

Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near.

Isaiah urged the people of Israel to seek God while there was still time. God has invited all of us into relationship with him and doesn’t want a single person to miss the opportunity to know him personally. Seeking God means looking for his presence and work in our everyday lives, talking to him about everything, and listening for his voice as he leads and guides. He is always offering us countless signs of his desire to be close to us. How might God be trying to show you that he is with you? Through beauty in nature? The kindness of another? Unexplainable peace in a desperate situation? An urge to choose good over bad? Don’t wait another day to look for him. Call out to him while he is near.
