So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming. . . . You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.

Jesus told his disciples to keep watch and be ready for the day of his return. Because he didn’t give specifics on when this day will happen, we, too, must always be ready. Don’t put off God’s Kingdom work until tomorrow. Right now, think about areas in your life where you might be procrastinating, putting off what you know God has called you to do. Perhaps inviting someone to church? Telling someone you love about Jesus? If you knew the Lord was coming tomorrow, how would you spend today stepping out in faith to do something God was asking of you?
