Matthew 7:7-8

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.

One of the most challenging tests the Lord may give is the opportunity to trust him through seasons of unanswered prayer. Jesus’ words encourage us to pray with persistence and hope. The more we pray, the more our hearts become aligned with his and the more we understand his will for our lives. Perhaps God wants you to experience his love and faithfulness in new ways, or maybe he wants to open doors for you to discover how his desires really are best. When you pray, “Your will be done,” God will lead you to a joyful and satisfying life.
