Matthew 6:33

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Seeking God’s Kingdom begins by acknowledging you are part of the bigger story God is writing for the world. His plan is that everyone would come to know him and experience the joy that comes from his forgiveness, presence, and promises of eternal life. When you live with this Kingdom perspective in mind, he gives you everything you need to play your role. God’s view of need is often much different from ours. Jesus says not to worry about food, drink, or clothing. These things are important, but perhaps Jesus is suggesting that what we truly need is to know God and do our part in spreading his beautiful plan of redemption, bringing him glory on earth.
