Some people are always greedy for more, but the godly love to give!

While our culture encourages us to make more money and spend it on ourselves, the Bible focuses on how we should give generously to others. Followers of Jesus love to give because they recognize that everything they have is from his hands. For them, generosity is a joyful opportunity to share God’s blessings. Giving financially is just one way of sharing. You can also be generous with your time, talents, resources, and even your home. Perhaps generosity is an area of difficulty for you. If so, think about these questions: How has God blessed you? How might he want to multiply that blessing if you were to give generously out of what he has given you? Then ask the Lord for faith to become a person who loves to give. You won’t regret it!
