Oh, how I love your instructions! I think about them all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are my constant guide.

Do you really believe the Bible can guide you better than any other source? How often do you open it to receive God’s wisdom? This passage doesn’t suggest that God’s instructions are intended to guide us periodically—it says his commands are our “constant guide,” supplying us with divine understanding that those opposed to God cannot access. Since his Word is the wisest guidance we could ever receive, we’ll want to refer to it often and know it well. When you face circumstances you don’t know how to handle, where do you go first? The internet? Your family and friends? The next time you need advice, prayerfully open God’s Word and watch him give you exactly what you need for that moment.
