Psalm 46:10-11

“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us.

Do you find yourself frantic and frazzled, constantly on the go as you strive to complete the next item on your to-do list? God is speaking these words to you in this very moment: Be still, and know that I am God! Being still may not come naturally. But it is only in quietness that you can absorb two important truths about God—that he is in control and that he is with you. So the next time fear or anxiety compels you to rush to another task, be still and remember who God is. Experiencing his power and presence will only enhance your productivity.
