Does God really care about my daily needs?
God’s Response
This same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others. As the Scriptures say, “Godly people give generously to the poor. Their good deeds will never be forgotten.” 2 Corinthians 9:8-9
We must learn to distinguish between wants and needs. When we understand what we truly need and we see how God provides, we will realize how much he truly cares for us. God doesn’t promise to give you lots of possessions, but rather to help you possess the character traits that reflect his nature so that you can accomplish his plan for you. He doesn’t promise to preserve your physical life. He will preserve your soul in a new body for all eternity if you pledge your allegiance to him.
God’s Promise
I will be your God throughout your lifetime—until your hair is white with age. I made you, and I will care for you. Isaiah 46:4
