In what ways does God do battle for me?

God’s Response

The LORD is a warrior; yes, the LORD is his name! Exodus 15:3

The LORD will march forth like a mighty man; he will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his thundering battle cry, and he will crush all his enemies. Isaiah 42:13

This is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid! Don’t be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 2 Chronicles 20:15

Put on all of God’s armor. Ephesians 6:11

The purpose of evil is to defy God and to wear down believers until they are led into sin. This pleases Satan and gives him greater power over the earth. But God is a warrior. A battle rages in the spiritual realm and, as a believer, you are right in the thick of it. God is always ready to fight on your behalf, always ready to come to your defense. In addition, he provides you with armor so that you can fight alongside him (Ephesians 6:11-18). But you must join God in the battle or you will be vulnerable and helpless to withstand the enemy. If you join, you are guaranteed victory.

God’s Promise

The whole world has now become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever. Revelation 11:15
