How does God affirm me?

God’s Response

May God be merciful and bless us. May his face shine with favor upon us. Psalm 67:1

May God bless you with his special favor and wonderful peace as you come to know Jesus, our God and Lord, better and better. 2 Peter 1:2

I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me —that Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. 1 Corinthians 15:3

God affirms you in many ways. (1) He loves you so much that he has provided a way for you to live forever with him. (2) He blesses you with the beauty of his creation, through friends, family, and other believers, and by giving you talents and spiritual gifts. (3) He grants you mercy. He sees such value in you that he offers you the free gift of salvation. What greater affirmation can you receive than to have the most important Being in the universe pay such personal attention to you?

God’s Promise

Now God is building you, as living stones, into his spiritual temple. What’s more, you are God’s holy priests, who offer the spiritual sacrifices that please him because of Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2:5
