Passing It On

God has shown such compassion for me. How can I pass that along to others?

God’s Response

You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate. Luke 6:36

The LORD is kind and merciful, slow to get angry, full of unfailing love. Psalm 145:8

He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy. . . . Their lives are precious to him. Psalm 72:12-14

A compassionate heart is a mark of godliness. Compassion spurs you to put your love into action and motivates you to meet the needs of others. You can pass along the compassion of Jesus by your willingness to care for others. What one act of compassion could you offer today?

Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32
