For my part, and I have been long at it, I desire no other gift of prayer than that which ends in making me a better and better woman. By its fruits your prayer will be known to yourselves and others.

Pray About It: If the changes that occur to us as active pray-ers aren’t seen by others as making us better men and women—better Christians—then something is amiss in our prayers. Our lives bear the outward fruit of the inward work of God that occurs in prayer. It will be seen by ourselves and others. The fruit of prayer is a better life. Today, allow the fruit of the Spirit to be seen by those who know you. To see the fruit is to see the Spirit.
Walking down the avenue of prayer, we acquire something of His likeness, and unconsciously we become witnesses to others of His beauty and His grace.
