Salvation

Salvation

I know I’m saved, but what does that mean in my everyday life?

God’s Response

Put on salvation as your helmet. Ephesians 6:17

I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness—secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, the one who calls you by name. Isaiah 45:3

I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. 1 John 5:13

When you put on the helmet of salvation, you are deliberately protecting your head, and this is a powerful defense against troubles in this world. You live with a new perspective because when you trusted in Jesus Christ for salvation, the Holy Spirit began to change your mind. As he works within you, your way of thinking becomes more and more like that of Jesus and begins to stay focused on what is really important. This impacts every relationship you have and every decision you make.

God’s Promise

Those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same any more, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
